Do I need to be technical to use this?
You need to be able to describe what you want clearly. The same skill that lets you brief a developer lets you direct HitCreate. Technical decisions are surfaced to you in plain English.
What's self-hosted mean, and why does it matter?
Your code and data runs on your own server — not our infrastructure. We help you set it up. After that, we have zero access to your projects. For founders building anything sensitive, this matters.
Is this just another AI chat wrapper?
No. Chat is one piece. The system is the build loop — direction, autonomous execution, structured approval, deployment. The approval layer (Prestart) is what makes autonomous builds safe enough to run overnight.
